GCF Kairos :: About Us

GCF Kairos is managed by Trustees appointed by the GCF Council. Presently all three appointed trustees are current members of the GCF Council.

We are Christians who believe that for Christians there is no room for apathy. Our faith should be all embracing and not limited only to the “sacred” but extending to the “secular” as well. Our God is concerned not just for his covenant people, but also for all people. This concern is reflected throughout the gospels in the life of Christ. The apostle Matthew reflects this in Matt 9:35-37:

Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a Shepherd. Then he said to the disciples. “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send workers into his harvest field.”
